About Us
A Financial Planner helps individuals and businesses manage their finances to achieve long-term goals, giving clients a structure around their finances to help them make sound financial decisions. This includes retirement planning, investment advice and estate planning.
Yes. Our firm is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We were also the first firm in Derby to be awarded the prestigious ‘Chartered Financial Planners’ status by the Chartered Insurance Institute. This ensures we meet strict standards of professionalism, ethics, and transparency.
Our financial planners are fully qualified, with access to a Chartered Financial Planner — widely regarded as the gold standard in financial advice in the UK.
We offer a transparent fee structure, which may include:
• Fixed Fees for Financial Planning Reports or setting up a pension scheme.
• Percentage-Based Fees for arranging new investments or consolidating existing pension plans. We’ll always explain our fees clearly before any commitment is made.
We always offer an initial consultation at ‘no cost’. This allows us to get to know you better and understand what it is you’re trying to achieve. It also gives you the opportunity to find out more about us and to see if we can work together.
The initial meeting is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your goals and what’s important to you (not just financially), your current financial situation, and how we might help. There’s no obligation.

About You
Yes — your privacy is our priority. We use secure systems and follow strict confidentiality protocols to protect your personal and financial information at all times.
If you’re facing major life events – like approaching retirement, inheritance or selling a business, a Financial Planner can help you make the most of your money and avoid costly mistakes.
We do not hold client money directly. Any investments are placed with FCA-regulated platforms and custodians. You also benefit from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in most circumstances.
Whilst we produce one off pieces of advice for some of our clients, we also offer an automatic review service for your financial planning. We would typically review your financial plan annually, but we’re available throughout the year for updates or changes. The frequency can be tailored to your needs and budget.
Simply contact us to book an initial consultation. We’ll guide you through the next steps and what to bring to your first meeting.
